Located in the backyard of our Fairfield Township home, our goal for 2010 is to become certified by the National Wildlife Federation as an official Backyard Wildlife Habitat.

Lacy Bean comes from the middle name of my daughter, and the nickname for my son. It is also the name used for my wife's portrait photography business.
While the female is trying to eat, this male Pennsylvania leather-wing (Chauliognathus pennsylvanicus) is obviously trying to accomplish something else. They are photographed on a flower of the stunning and prolific 'Lemon Queen' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Lemon Queen').
