Located in the backyard of our Fairfield Township home, our goal for 2010 is to become certified by the National Wildlife Federation as an official Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
We have more than three dozen Ohio native plant species, both straight and cultivars, with straight species making up more than half of the Habitat.
Lacy Bean comes from the middle name of my daughter, and the nickname for my son. It is also the name used for my wife's portrait photography business.

Chrysalis Count: Twenty-Six
Yes that is not a typo - during the day today 20 more went to chrysalis. Good stuff indeed.
Right now, those that have gone to this stage are insect soup - their larval bodies breaking down before they begin to change into adult butterflies.
